Ubisoft's popular stealth series returns with more historically based open-world action, a new main location, and two playable protagonists in Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. The game takes place in London at the close of the Industrial Revolution, and finds players controlling Jacob Frye and his twin sister Evie as they battle the Templars for control of the city's seven boroughs. As always, the action offers a mix of fast-paced combat, parkour exploration, stealth, and investigation, though Syndicate adds a new mechanic that finds gamers assembling a gang and battling rivals.
