In Magus, players take control of a man who has spent his entire life imprisoned only to be freed and discover that he is in fact a god gifted with the ability to cast magic. Gamers absorb magic by finding colored gems and stones strewn about the various 3D environments, and in battle they can unleash Basic or Strong spells using red, blue, or green magic. Neither Basic nor Strong spells use Mana, but Strong spells require a cool down period before they can be used again.
