Dead Island is a role-playing game for the PlayStation 3 that puts you on a tropical island called Banoi - and at a lush and beautiful vacation destination called the Royal Palms Resort. Here the player learns he and up to three other players are the only people immune to a huge zombie outbreak, and they find themselves in a fight for survival on the now-ravaged island. This is an open-world RPG, meaning that players can complete missions and can also roam off and explore other parts of the island, battling zombies with knives, swords, machetes, and, in limited cases, guns.
